Reality about mankind

"And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah , you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful."

✦ Responsibility ✦

From 'Umar (radiyAllâhu 'anhu) who said that Allâh's Messenger (salAllâhu 'alaihi wa'sallam) said:

"Each of you is a guardian and is responsible for those whom he is in charge of. So the ruler is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects; a man is the guardian of his family and is responsible for those under his care; a woman is a guardian of her husband's home and is respons
ible for those under her care; a servant is the guardian of his master's wealth and is responsible for that which he is entrusted with; and a man is the guardian of his father's wealth and is responsible fore what is under his care. So each one of you is a guardian and is responsible for what he is entrusted with." [ Reported by al-Bukharee (Eng. Trans. 9/189/no.252) and Muslim (Eng. Trans. 3/1017/no.4496)]

Seeking nearness to Allah

The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said:
"Allah said: Whosoever shows enmity to a friend of Mine, I shall be at war with him. My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory duties that I have placed upon him. My servant continues to draw nearer to Me with optional deeds so that I shall love him." [Related by al-Bukhari (11/481), from Abu Hurayrah radiallahu 'anhu.]

Charities to be paid daily

Allâh's Messenger (salAllâhu 'alaihi wa'sallam) said: "Charity (sadaqah) is due upon every joint of a person on every day that the sun rises. Administering justice between two people is an act of charity; and to help a man concerning his riding beast by helping him on to it or lifting his luggage on to it is an act of charity; a good word is charity; and every step which you take to prayer is charity; and removing that which is harmful from the road is charity." [This Hadith is Narrated from Abû Hurayrah (radiyAllâhu 'anhu)] Reported by Bukhari in The Book of Zakat (Kitab Al-Zakat) - Muslim :: Book 5 : Hadith 2204

The people upon whom Allah woed

‎"Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly). And urges not on the feeding of Al Miskin (the poor). So woe unto those performers of Salât (prayers) (hypocrites). Those who delay their Salât (prayer from their stated fixes times). Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men). And prevent Al-Mâ'ûn (small kindnesses like salt, sugar, water)."

[Surah Al-Mâ'ûn 107: 1-7]
